PM Calls on Doctors to be Conscientious and Professional

TBONG KHMUM: While speaking at the inauguration ceremony for the new Cambodia-China Tbong Khmum Friendship Hospital on Monday morning, Prime Minister Hun Sen said that while the hospital has modern equipment, doctors must have a clear conscience and maintain their professionalism.

In addition to this professional conscience, the Prime Minister also called on doctors to be ethical and hold a good attitude towards patients. He continued that in the context of Covid-19, healthcare workers have been dubbed as the 'white army' by the public, so he hopes that doctors will consciously continue this good name in their work.

He also stated that in order to highlight the importance of the health sector, he has added 4,000 institutional frameworks to the health sector.
